The former Marriott Hilton Head Resort & Spa has rebranded as Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island, the only Hilton-branded full-service resort within 200 miles of Hilton Head island.
This brand change comes on the heels of a recent multi-million dollar renovation that includes a transformation of 513 guest rooms and suites, including the Presidential Suite and four Vice Presidential Suites, which follows the recent updating of the resort’s public spaces, dining outlets and function space.
Asvil Correia, general manager, states, “Groups and individual guests who have booked their meeting or stay with us prior to March 1, 2024 have been seamlessly transitioned. Groups are receptive to the change and look forward to future renovations. Our tremendous staff, some who have been with the resort for decades, continue to meet and exceed guest expectations.”
Owned and managed by Columbia Sussex, the Hilton Beachfront Resort & Spa Hilton Head Island is located in the exclusive residential community of Palmetto Dunes, which Condé Nast named one of the top resorts in the south in its Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for the past three years in a row. Visitors looking to create an unforgettable stay can stroll three miles of pristine beach, play three PGA golf courses, or explore 2,000 acres of natural beauty and outdoor activities. Palmetto Dunes is the best place for Hilton Head bike rentals and water sports, along with a full-service marina, award-winning tennis and pickleball center, and a sweeping 11-mile lagoon system for kayaking, fishing or simply getting back to nature.
